ADA OKO USA INC comprises daughters from Oko with a mission to change and shape lives. We empower women so they can empower their families and communities. Our goal aims to provide a holistic approach to solving some of our society’s biggest challenges.

Empowerment

Our mission is to empower women and enable them to support their families. We carefully search for women who are the sole providers for their families and investigate the womens' needs toward improving their businesses to be self-sufficient citizens in their community. We provide these women with the capital required to revitalize their enterprise, follow up with them regularly, and give support as needed.

Entrepreneurial Project

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies to empower women. Our team is working daily to make a positive impact. We have attached videos below showing the women we have assisted thus far in improving their quality of life.

Joy Ezeokoli is the sole provider for her family. Her market is in fruits that she buys and prepares and then sells. She borrows money from various people to procure her market. ADA OKO USA INC met with her and helped infuse capital into her business and made a tangible improvement for her business

The mother died in a car accident leaving her 3 children to be raised by their grandmother. The boy is in Primary 6 and the two girls are in SS1. They are embarking on a chin chin business after being assisted by ADA OKO USA INC.

Joy Okeke

Joy Okeke is a widow with 5 children. She has a provision shop near Best Hospital Oko but due to lack of capital the shop is lacking a large quantity of goods. The shop is on the main road but is not well stocked. Our liaison assisted her in procuring goods to revitalize her business.

Helen Ekwenem is a widow from Ihengwu. She has 3 children. She sells provision at her shop close to Gaius Benton School Oko. Her shop is at a major site but due to not having enough capital, her business is moving slowly. After meeting with our liaison, she is poised to compete with her fellow colleagues and provide her family.

Ifeoma Okoli is a widow with 6 children. She is selling akara near Federal Polytechnic Oko. Due to lack of capital she has not purchased some of the things she needs to improve the business. She met with our liaison and has been able to rejuvenate her business with an influx of capital.
